My Happy Place

The property and location were perfect for our group. We loved the outdoor space and pool! The bed in the primary bedroom is advertised as a king but is only a queen. We had a few questions and none of them were answered by the host. I sent messages to the host and only received A1 type auto messages with no attempt to answer our questions. Other than the lack of communication, we loved our stay.

Pool looked nice, but noticed the top skimmer was not working, so it requires a lot of net cleaning, but unfortunately both nets are ripped. Pool was great besides this.The 2 twin beds were great but the master was extremely uncomfortable and vallied bad in the center. We did not sleep well the entire stay, but kids had no complaints.Originally the ad stated 4pm checkin, but the day before, I was made aware we could not arrive until 8pm, so that changed things a little.The house also had many odd noises at night which was noticed by us and the kids both. Overall a nice house but could improve on the upkeep.The lighting remotes did not all work and were quite confusing. Same thing for the living room tv that had 4 or 5 remotes.We did enjoy our stay, but will be trying elsewhere for future visits.

Everything about "My Happy Place" was exactly as promoted. The picture does not give the beautiful pool area and landscaped back yard justice - the property is a small oasis in a quiet neighborhood. Beach chairs and umbrella were complimentary just a mile or so from the house. The owners include extra beach towels, floats, and anything you might need for a vacation in south Florida. Our door code did not work, and the manager contacted us within 5 minutes and got us inside. Grateful this property was available with a price we could live with!We will be back!

We had a great experience at this VRBO rental and can’t say enough about the ease of the communication process with Charles, the property manager. The rental was accurately described on the site and was so close to activities. Our favorite part was the seclusion of the backyard, which makes you feel as if there is no one else around you.

Positive: Loved the well equipped villa, pool was lovely and warm. Geckos were fun to watch each morning and loved blueberries. Nature haven at bottom of garden. Negative: Main bed was very creaky and woke each other up each time one moved or got up. So moved to spare room which was fine.
